More About
TI Yoga

Why yoga?

Yoga can be both a healing modality and a supportive wellness practice. Whether you are wanting to feel more at ease in your daily life or navigating the impacts of trauma, trauma‑informed yoga (TI Yoga) offers a gentle, choice‑based approach to movement and nervous‑system regulation. While it is grounded in research supporting trauma recovery, TI yoga’s benefits extend to anyone seeking greater calm, resilience, or connection to their body.

Yes, you can do yoga!

Yoga supports and strengthens our mind-body connection. Just as our brains pick up and process information, our bodies are sensing and discerning for our protection and overall benefit. Your brain and body are built to work together for your health and wellbeing.

However, disruptions or breaks in the mind-body connection are common and present concerns like trouble sleeping, distressed mental health and/or a dysregulated nervous system.

TI Yoga provides a gentle space to:

  • strengthen nervous‑system regulation

  • reduce stress

  • build inner awareness

  • develop a deeper sense of safety and presence

Let’s begin where you are.

No matter your past experience, we’ll find the right practice to serve your needs.
